Vietnam Airline Carry-On Rules: What’s Allowed in 2026?
Vietnam’s airlines have different carry-on policies — and budget carriers do enforce them at the gate. Here’s exactly what each allows:
| Airline | Carry-On Weight | Max Dimensions | Personal Item? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vietnam Airlines | 10 kg | 56 × 36 × 23 cm | Yes (small bag) |
| VietJet Air | 7 kg | 56 × 36 × 23 cm | Yes (under-seat) |
| Bamboo Airways | 10 kg | 56 × 36 × 23 cm | Yes |
| Pacific Airlines | 7 kg | 54 × 38 × 23 cm | Yes |
Liquids Rule
Standard international rule: containers must be 100ml or under, all fitting in a single 1-liter transparent resealable bag per passenger. This bag goes separately through the X-ray scanner.
Electronics & Batteries
Laptops must come out of your bag at security. Power banks and spare lithium batteries must be in carry-on only — not in checked luggage. This applies to drone batteries, camera batteries, and any loose cells.
