Is this the same as getting a Vietnam visa?
No. The pre-arrival declaration is separate from your visa. If your nationality requires a Vietnam e-visa, you still need to get one from evisa.gov.vn. We can help with that too — see our e-visa service.
When should I order — how far in advance?
You can order any time from 3 days before arrival. We recommend ordering the night before your flight so you can board stress-free. Don’t leave it until you’re at the airport.
What if I don’t know my hotel address yet?
Let us know what city you’re landing in. We can use your first confirmed hotel, or hold the order until you confirm. Most travelers know at least their first night’s accommodation.
Is the form really free to fill out myself?
Yes — prearrival.immigration.gov.vn is free. You pay us for the time, expertise, and accuracy guarantee. Many travelers use us because the form has confusing fields (especially the visa type dropdown and Vietnamese address format) and they’d rather not risk a mistake at immigration.
