⚡ Connectivity Quick Tip
How Fast Does Your eSIM Arrive After Payment?
⚡ Quick Answer
Within minutes of payment. A person creates your eSIM and sends the QR code with the install steps. It is not an automated pipeline and we will not pretend it is — but it does mean that if the profile refuses to install, you are talking to someone who can fix it rather than to a help-centre article.
Then install it before you fly. This is the step most people get wrong, and it applies to every provider, not just us.
| When | What to do |
|---|---|
| Before you leave home | Scan the QR on wifi. Add the profile. Leave it switched off. |
| On landing | Turn the eSIM on for data. You are connected before immigration. |
| Never | Wait until you are in the arrivals hall to sort this out. |
✅ Installing early costs nothing. An eSIM profile sitting switched off on your phone does not start the clock on your plan. Validity runs from activation, not from the moment you scan.
⚠ Airport wifi covers the terminal, not the journey. Vietnamese airports do have free wifi and it works when things are quiet. It stops at the doors — typically right when you need a ride-hailing app to find you.
Nine plans from $9. Order before you fly and arrive connected.

A day or two is plenty, and the same evening usually works. What matters is having it installed before you board rather than how many weeks early you bought it.
What if my phone will not take an eSIM?
Order the physical SIM instead. It is $2 cheaper at every tier and works in every phone, including every iPhone older than the XS. Check your handset supports eSIM before choosing one.
What if the QR code will not install?
Message us on WhatsApp and we will sort it. A failed install is almost always the phone being on a restricted network or the profile having already been used once — both fixable.
Delivery times describe our normal turnaround and are not a guarantee. Plan prices are those shown in our shop on 27 September 2026, in USD.
