Which Countries Can Get Vietnam E-Visa?

As of 2023, Vietnam opened e-visa to ALL nationalities — citizens of all 198+ countries and territories can apply at evisa.gov.vn.
Before August 2023, Vietnam’s e-visa was restricted to citizens of around 80 countries. After a major policy overhaul, any passport holder from any country or territory can now apply online.
This includes nationalities that previously had no straightforward way to get a Vietnam visa — many African, Middle Eastern, Central Asian, and Pacific nations. The process is the same for everyone: apply at evisa.gov.vn, pay $25 (single entry) or $50 (multiple entry), wait 3–5 business days.
✅ Even if your country has visa-free access, the $50 multiple-entry e-visa is worth considering — it gives 90 days with unlimited border crossings vs the typical 30–45 day visa-free limit.
There is no list of excluded nationalities. If you hold any valid passport, you can apply. If your application is rejected for any reason, you can reapply immediately after fixing the issue.
