Why This Isn’t a Simple Terminal Change
You’re already inside Vietnam and now departing it, so you do the whole departure process from the start:
- Collect any checked baggage from domestic arrivals
- Exit the domestic terminal
- Walk or take a shuttle to the international terminal
- Check in again for your international flight (and re-check bags)
- Clear passport control and security
